Clive would be proud of this build

Yeah! When I first saw the name of this thread, I immediately had visions of a classic Mustang being stretched to its absolute mechanical limits by Dirk (With a frightened passenger or two, usually of the beautiful and female persuasion...) being chased up a winding mountain road by a trio of Mercedes-Benzs' luxury SUV's full of desperate, automatic-weapon wielding terrorists with no regard for human life... B):P;)

I'm liking this build. I will gladly watch it through to completion...

Getting back to my 68 KR-8. The body has been wet sanded and now its time to do some trim work.

With some Bare Metal Foil (Brushed Aluminum), a ruler, Q-tip and toothpick I set to work. Except for some bumper work on my 65 2+2 I've yet to really get into using this stuff.

Foiling is all done.

Decaling started

Assembled the wheels and weathered.

Decals completed, gloss cote applied and some weathering was done to highlight the doors and trunk areas.

Here we go down the home stretch. While the results don't bear out the time and effort put into it I'm still relativity happy. Time to move onto the next plastic debauchery.

I couldn't resist and put in some seat belts

Depends on what picture you look at. I would guess they used whatever they had on hand at any given time.

The battery was relocated to the trunk on the 1:1 cars just like with the Boss 429's
