Cool. I have been collecting pieces to build a similar car. I've taken a bunch of pictures at the June Sprints at Road America for years.

I'm surprised you did not start with the Tamiya VW engine.....

I am a modeler usually on the GPMA site. A few of us are currently building FVs mostly from scratch. I am using the Tamiya Karmann Ghia front susp. and engine. I noticed a lot of you are going at this. Thats fantastic. I'd like to join in if I can.
