Been in a little slump the last few months. So I decided to pull out this Fuimi Porsche Cayman S. It's a curb side kit so I though this would get me rolling again.

Here it is with the first coat of primer, need to wet-sand and re-prime. Then it'll get a nice coat of Tamiya Bright White.

The wheels are Aoshima Amistad Rotino 19". Stripped them and painted with Tamiya semi gloss black.

Here's a shot:

I won't be posting much for in progress shots as I just want to build something.

Looking good Chris. This Fujimi red plastic does not seem to have any serious bleeding problems.

Nice choice of wheels.

My Cayman S should be finished in the next couple of days.

Thanks,

Ismael

This is a nice kit, I built this too, in a similar scheme to what you are planning!

Matt, thanks for the look at your build. I love it. Are those Aoshima Bersaglio rims? Did you use a pearl paint?

I was going to try and go for this look:

Although I have no idea where to start with a spoiler.

As I said before, I just want to build something.

Thanks for the encouragement guys!

Correct and correct! The paint is Tamiya Pearl white, straight out of the can.

Well, I got the rear engine/suspension on today. I also got the last two coats of primer on. I'll probably get the car painted Saturday. I hope I can get it done in another week.

Here are a couple more shots of it in Tamiya white primer with .005 black micron panel lines:

Going along smoothly.
