Haubenschild Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Looks very nice! , I wish I could of detailed the interior a little more on mine , yours looks so much better
SuperStockAndy Posted January 31, 2012 Author Posted January 31, 2012 Thanks Liam, but I don't know about all that! You did a very nice job on yours. Also, the dash isn't permanently attached-I'm going to run wires through there and all.
elan Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Nice work so far, keep us posted. I have 2 of the A.M. kits, once you get the engine wired and plumbed you can't get the engine cover to fit.
SuperStockAndy Posted February 1, 2012 Author Posted February 1, 2012 Thanks Jody. I am aware of the cover not fitting, I'm trying to figure something out. Might just leave it though.
vwrabbit Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Looks good! Just picked up an 8B from evilBay cheap. Missing a door, but will scratch build it. Will try to catch up w/you on the build! It's a nice looking kit! Both yours and Haubenschild's were my inspiration for looking for one! Will also note the engine wiring step for the engine cover fitting. Keep up the work! Looking forward to following the build! Tim
SuperStockAndy Posted February 1, 2012 Author Posted February 1, 2012 Thanks Tim! Looking forward to seeing yours
SuperStockAndy Posted February 5, 2012 Author Posted February 5, 2012 Thanks Robert! I also did some wiring on the dash, no pics yet, still need some more wires.
SuperStockAndy Posted February 6, 2012 Author Posted February 6, 2012 (edited) In the one pic you can see the ugly glue fingerprint I left... Plan on doing just a LITTLE more dash detail. Just a little. Or a lot. Edited February 6, 2012 by SuperStockAndy
