Dr. Cranky Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 That's one big boat of a car. You don't see those too often. Keep it going.
philo426 Posted January 19, 2012 Author Posted January 19, 2012 No Levi!I have an unbuilt 'Monogram '41 Lincoln that is missing its engine! Thanks Cranky, it is coming along nicely!
philo426 Posted January 19, 2012 Author Posted January 19, 2012 The kit-supplied steering wheel is very small,so I found a parts box replacement!
Rob McKee Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 That looks great. I hear this kit is a real bear to build though. There is one sitting on the shelf at the hobby shop. I have been eyeing it for awhile. Is it worthwhile?
philo426 Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 Well the kit is a good starting point but requires much modification(especially the engine) to make a decent replica. The multi-piece body and fenders require body work too!
