tjones87 Posted January 25, 2012 Share Posted January 25, 2012 I have a friend that has a 1/9 IMEX Harley Davidson Fatboy kit and is needing some money. I have always liked the fatboy bikes, but want to see if this is a good kit to build...This will be my first non 4 wheel kit, and was just wondering if anyone had any feedback on it. roadent Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 hi! ya its a good kit. it builds nice. being a hog lover, it pains me to say its from the amf years of harley. late 70s early 80s. testers makes a nice fatboy. it is a 96 bike. roadent Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 in the kit the mirrors mount on the bars. they should mount on the brake and clutch leaver mounts. front signal lights shound mount below them. i would mount the lights on the headlight shrowd. the front master cyl. mount on top of the frt leaver. most hog owners get rid of the wimpy exhaust. the run stright pipe or slash cuts. chech out jpcycle.com and look in the exhaust section for ideas. vans & hinds are very popular.
