Austin T Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 This should be interesting for me,First time to enter a contest like this, and a plethora of new tricks being tried. The grand scheme is to make this a beater that would be driven in the backwoods of Kentucky. This is also the first time that I have opened the doors on a model, and that was very "Fun". I sanded off the trim and used my pen vise for the holes,I think I saw Dr.Cranky use this technique.Every good beater needs a mismatched set of wheels.
Dr. Cranky Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Austin, it looks like you are off to a good start. Looking forward to more.
Austin T Posted February 5, 2012 Author Posted February 5, 2012 Thanks guys,Gonna have to go to the LHS for some paint,I think there may be4 or 5 different colors on it.
Dr. Cranky Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Sounds cool, a different color door or hood will give it that perfect daily driver look.
Austin T Posted February 5, 2012 Author Posted February 5, 2012 15 & under/less then 10 models in the past 3 years/unlimited,I think is what I fall into.
