Dr. Cranky Posted February 6, 2012 Author Posted February 6, 2012 Kevin, Cruz is a fabulous builder and his work always is exciting, so congratulations you have some of his work in your collection. Lucky you.
philo426 Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I have been told by many modelers on many forums that my '56 Nomad is a very clean build. The added bonus is that was almost trouble free!
Dr. Cranky Posted February 6, 2012 Author Posted February 6, 2012 Phil, that's a beautiful model. Congratulations. You bring up an interesting point about "feeling" the clean coming on. After the final assembly and detailing, that old feeling normally comes on. Everything is spotless, smooth, inviting the viewer to linger for a while. There's no better feeling!
philo426 Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Yes i agree! Some builds just go right from start to finish!i just wished it happened all of the time!
Dr. Cranky Posted February 6, 2012 Author Posted February 6, 2012 You also did an outstanding job on the foiling!
Guest Johnny Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Raoul! Those are some really clean builds! That Javilin is one of the cleanest builds of that kit that I have ever seen! Makes me want to redo mine if I could ever find the decals to do it!
Dr. Cranky Posted February 7, 2012 Author Posted February 7, 2012 Thanks, everyone for your support and for being a part of the conversation. It's refreshing.
FASTBACK340 Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Take Rich's explanation and look at the Blue Ferrari Daytona in Jason's post #19 and put this one to bed.
