Dr. Cranky Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Oh, I can tell you that upon first impression I am going to be getting the popcorn ready to lean back and enjoy this one. That first pic shows the perfect look for this build.
Bartster Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 I'm gonna enjoy this, got the same kit waiting on deck. love the red & white! Did you have any body warp problems? mine is in a couple places.
Bartster Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 I guess they can't all be winners, lol. are you using the kit engine?
FASTBACK340 Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 The Safari windows are a nice touch! Very cool build! Here's one I did a while back
FASTBACK340 Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Thanks. I really should get a better picture of it.
Mike502 Posted February 7, 2012 Author Posted February 7, 2012 This kit did not come with the engine...
FASTBACK340 Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 (edited) Got better pics.... This is the Hasagawa curbside kit. The graphics are from one of the AMT '40 Ford re-issues that happened to match the shade of pink I used for the two-tone. I had made a twin-muffler set of headers that have parted with the bus over the years.... wheels are Detail master bits with body-colored inserts setting them off. Enjoy Edited February 7, 2012 by FASTBACK340
FASTBACK340 Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Thanks Mike. I love the way yours looks too! Again, the Safari's are a neat touch! I'll have to steal your idea when I do the 23 window I've got.
