Styrene plastic

Is ABS the same as styrene. I know by looking around on the web that the S in ABS stands for styrene.

ABS is a different form of "styrene"...regular model styrene (Polystyrene) is softer and more flexible than ABS.

The thing with ABS plastic is that you can't bond it to polystyrene unless you use epoxy, CA glue or the Plastruct ABS to styrene bonder. They make two solvents, most hobby shops should have them.
