vintagestang Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 I was being an idiot the other day after my windshield crackes on my 1970 Mustang Boss 429 and asked, "What else can go wrong?" Well I screwed up my paint job. I had to put rubber bands around the body and they dug into the paint. And the rear end is like the chair that no one wants, it moves when you press on the back of it. So what can I do to fix these problems?
VW Dave Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 I had to put rubber bands around the body Why did you have to put rubber bands on a recently-painted body?
Mike Kucaba Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Because the first rule of model building was ignored! Patience!
vintagestang Posted February 19, 2012 Author Posted February 19, 2012 The paint has been dry for about 3 weeks or so. I had to put the rubber bands on it to push the interior tub into the body. The windshield that I modified was too thick.

vintagestang Posted February 19, 2012 Author Posted February 19, 2012 I can't start with another kit.
