nitro_force_fan Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 (edited) Hey guys im new here and have just gotten back into building 1:24 1:25 models again. Im 45 and have been building them since i was 6 or 7. I learned it from watching my dad build them. Ive got probably 100 unbuilt that ive been buying over the years. So i decided its time to get back to it. Here is my first one in about 10 years. I built it out of the 57 150 Black Widow model. I opened up the rear wheelwells. I used the straight axel from the Little Red Wagon model as well as the rims and tires. The motor came out of an extra top fuel diecast car that i had. I wanted to build something wild and extreme. Yes its not the most detailed and lacks some detail in a few spots but for my first one in awhile i thought it was pretty cool. By the way i am a DIE HARD mopar man( have a 66 coronet for 20 years) so building a chevy was a little different.....lol........but aint nothing cooler that a gasser chevy! Hope you guys like!.....Joe Edited February 20, 2012 by nitro_force_fan
6bblbird Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 Kind of surreal, it reminds me of an Ed Roth tee shirt design. That's a good thing! WF
