Model Master sanding films,any good?

Got some for a Christmas and just now opened em' up,I thought they were sheets of sand paper.I am completely lost and need to wetsand a body for the 3 day weekend build,this is all I have.If someone could post a quick and simple how to that would be great,Thanks Austin.

is this the sandpaper on the clear plastic ?

I had some years ago,, seem to recall just wet sanding like normal paper

but it didn't like to be folded

I like them for some tasks,but get the stuff from K& S metals. The sheets are larger & a better price.
