Green Duster Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Hi guys. Sorry no pics for this but I think all of you will be able to figure it out for yourselfs. I wanted something different for the new Gremmy kit. So I took the scooped hood, cut off the scoop. Than I went and cut the center on the stock hood right at the raised portion. Took the ends of that hood and cut thin strips of the ends to use as sides for the cowl. Just enough for about 2-3 inch rise. Trimed and sanded to get the right shape. You can cut to get a pie shape for more of a rise in the back. Now all I have to do is finish shaping to the hood and gluing it down. As the magician says; Viola, one cowl hood for a cool little car. You could do this with just about any hood. Thanks for looking. Brian
