Big Daddy Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Okay to most of you this is a no brainer, but i got some wheel sets and am trying to figure how to get them to work
Fabrux Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 The Pegasus wheels are designed to use metal axles, so unless the kit you're building has them (or metal pins), you'll have to either find a way to insert pins or drill out the mounting stud on the wheels big enough so that they slide on the kits's axle.
MikeMc Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 (edited) most of the time I shorten (end mill) the hub, sometimes boring for the spindle is needed Edited February 23, 2012 by MikeMc
Big Daddy Posted February 23, 2012 Author Posted February 23, 2012 Thanks guys i kinda figured they are used with metal axles but just wanted to make sure
MikeMc Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 (edited) Did the new wheels come out yet ? Of which do you speak ? These are the only ones I know of : http://www.pegasushobbies.com/rims.htm Edited February 24, 2012 by MikeMc
Fabrux Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 I would love it if Pegasus came out with some new styles. I already have at least one of every style they currently have that I like.
