Lownslow Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 a friend of mine begged me to let me display this car at her dive bar i did as long as she promised it wasnt gonna get destroyed it survived 4 years before the incident yesterday where a shot glass was thrown at the back wall it missed the cadillac but it didnt miss all the bottles behind it the car only fell a foot before it hit ice tray(thank god lol) she was upset that i would be upset, im bummed out but im surprised she managed to find all the pieces so im gonna fix it up again. i gave her a structo dump truck she can shot off told her the worst that can happen is the wheels falling off on that one. heres the cadillac, i plan on rebuilding the suspension then putting it away on my shelf lol
JunkPile Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Thats what my car occasionally looked like after leaving dive bar. Dive bars need TONKA trucks for decor. It'll be a great model car story after repairs are made. Good Luck
Dr. Cranky Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 We all learn sometimes the hard way. The few models I gave away or loaned were returned to me in pieces, so I stopped doing that. They all sit here on my shelves where I'm the only one responsible for them. Well, I have a few at the LHS but I bring them in, set them up, and lock the display cabinet after I'm done.
