I make sure that my clear parts fit right. Then I clean them real well and dip them in Future. After that I put them on a paper towel standing on edge as not to touch the viewing surface, this wicks the excess Future off. Then I cover it with a box lid or anything to keep dust and particles from settling on it. I don't go near it for 2 days. I've done it this way for years. Something brought down from my aircraft modeling days.
