Hello all, I've been reading and searching around for a few days now and love the site/forum. But I have a question that's rattled around in my head for a bit. I have the aforementioned Turbo Coupe kit, and broke the body. I found online a site with a red Fox Body mustang, glass for sale. My question is would it fit on said Turbo Coupe's chassis? I know in 1:1 they're both fox platform cars, but not sure if this body would work in scale.. thanks.

Lawrence , uh as I recall, the actual Thunderbird was a good six inches longer . Yes , technically the two cars share platforms and drive line components . So too , the Mk 7 Lincon did too........... Ed Shaver

I just did a quick check and even if you were to use a 1:24 Mustang kit, the chassis pans don't switch very well; the Thunderbird has a bit longer wheelbase. Also, the T-bird's chassis pan has the rear wheel wells molded to it where the Mustang's doesn't.
