I'd like to help you but I have no idea what you are talking about. That little "hickey" that goes on top of the manifold of an old Ford V-8 ? What's it look like ? I'll bet any number of people here on this very board have one, and would be glad to help you out if they only knew what it looks like. So here it is. What the heck would you use one of these for?

The point being, if you have a question about something, need a part, or you'd just like some information about something, what the heck does it look like ? Show us what it looks like.

Is it a cover for intake manifold hole where stock choke parts/linkage for carb. come up and thru?

Looks like a caliper bracket to me.

It's a carb block off plate for a 3 bolt carb. Used on multi carb intakes (4x2, 6x2)
