Ben Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 I'd love to build that truck as well, some day! If you do decide to build it, I mastered the correct little 17" spoke wheels needed to build the trailer and they are available in resin. The wheels on the tractor can be bought in real aluminum as well.
mistermodel Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 it had a 318/auto combo 296 wheelbase, notice that the 5th wheel is behind the axle.I believe the measurement is 2 feet behind the rear center line In 1971 it cost $99,000,$40,000 just for the base tractor. This configuration was a truck/trailer not a tractor trailer
pete3522 Posted March 11, 2012 Author Posted March 11, 2012 ok justin is there a website with info on this??Even if i dont build this i am curious about the actual rebuild
