scubadiver411 Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Here is one of the several MoPars that I am currently working on.... This one is the '70 Road Runner that just got the body painted Candy Tangerine by Shimrins (made by House of Color) that I picked up at Wally World. The top of the fenders and the hood are going to remain "blacked-out" and I am adding the rear wing from my '70 Buick GSX kit. The rims and tires are from the '67 Chevelle Wagon kit. Thanks for looking and all comments are welcome STEVE
scubadiver411 Posted June 17, 2007 Author Posted June 17, 2007 The kit is Revell '70 Plymouth Road Runner. The box has a reddish-orange Road Runner on the cover with some clouds in the background. I picked it up about a year ago at a Local Hobby Shop. I should be downloading some pics of the painted body this next week, so I will post some more pics.... until then 8) STEVE

scubadiver411 Posted June 22, 2007 Author Posted June 22, 2007 Awesome Steve!! What kind of paint is that? John I picked up the silver base color and the candy tangerine top coat in the automotive section at Wal-Mart. The paint is called "Shimrins" which is made by "House of Kolor". It's been easy to work with. I also put this paint over Wal-Marts $.95 cent black primer.... Thanks for the comments STEVE
scubadiver411 Posted June 22, 2007 Author Posted June 22, 2007 Here is a sneek peek at my '68 Road Runner that is painted with Dupli-color Charcoal Gray Metallic.... STEVE
