This weekend I had the best time doing models with my 12 yr old son. I showed how to use the air brush and man he is a natural. We built a Zinger and Isaac done most of the building. He painted all the parts himself with the air brush man and it turned out groovy. We had such a great time and he is hooked on models now :) I will post photos soon in Under Glass section

I'm trying to get my son more interested in models. He's twelve as well. I am hoping he will want the same hobby as me because when I'm gone, he's gonna have a LOT of models to inherit!!!!!!!!

Kind of reminds me of when I was a kid. My dad and I would be at the diningroom table building models together. He stopped building after some time, but I had already caught the model building bug, or as Dr. Cranky would say..."the styrene addiction". He passed away in January and I recently bought a kit that he always wanted me to build for him. AMT's 1950 Chevrolet 3100. It's the vehicle he learned how to drive in on a farm he worked at when he was growing up. I never got around to building it for him, so in the near future I'll get it in the line-up to build in his memory. I always cherished those times building with my dad and it really sounds like you do too Tye.
