Well, I've started back on this one from many many moons ago. My Mom bought this fer me for my birthday or Christmas, I don't remember which, and I started to build it and there was something wrong with it and it went back in the box. Well, it's been over 40 years now and I got it back out and started on it a couple of days ago. It's in flat black now and I will paint it gloss black. Here is a picture of the body as it is now.

Thanks Steve. I'll have to test the windshield. I know that the rear window doesn't fit the opening at all, so maybe you're right.

Here are a couple more pics of what I did last night to the interior.

Thanks Roger. I'm not building as factory stock. I am using the custom roll pan and tail light for the back but I'm using the stock front bumper/grill. It will be all black with the body chrome trim. I'm also using the stock engine with the three two barrels. Nothing to great just for the shelf.

Steve, I forgot the question you asked and yes it is the "Grand Slam" kit. My Mom got this for me for either a birthday present or Christmas present, I don't remember which, it's been so long ago. Dan

You're right Steve, it's the wrong windshield and rear window. I have no idea of what to do about that now. Bummer fer sure. Dan

A friend of mine found one of these in a thrift shop and gave it to me to build. It started out like this:

Nice GP Curtis. Looks like it has the right glass in it. I'm kinda bummed out because the glass in mine is wrong. I might try and make the windshield and rear glass, not sure yet. Dan
