billywilly92 Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 I got this new kit called 32' Ford by Revell but it has a little engine in it and I wanted to pu ta big engine so it's kind of like a rat rod and I was wondering where could I buy a new one? Maybe one with more parts so it's more realistic.
Jairus Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 This is too general a question! You are going to have to provide a little more information or this question is going to be ignored. Just my opinion.
billywilly92 Posted June 22, 2007 Author Posted June 22, 2007 I have the good guys 32 ford, it is the one with the flames on the box art. I also went to a hobby shop to look for engines and they had lots for muscle cars like the 440 six pack but they were all $25.00  I am looking for an engine you can buy and built then put in your model so it is a custom one.
RJWood Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 You should look for the Revell parts pack engines, you can still find them. and you have a choice of Chevy 283 v-8 Cadillac 354 c.i. Ford 427 c.i. and Pontiac 421 c.i. and It should'ent take much to get them to fit in your 32' Ford. 8) Also you can look for cheeper kits at E-modelcars.com
billywilly92 Posted June 22, 2007 Author Posted June 22, 2007 Thanks for the help I guess I'll go out to my hobby shop and see if they have those.
bobss396 Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 If you want a beaucoup supply of engines, go to a hobby store where they race slot cars. Get to meet some of the guys and you will find that they buy model kits for the BODIES ONLY and are willing to sell the kit remnants to you for a few bucks. This is where 90% of my kit-bashed engines come from. Bob
