here's pic of frame painted flat black.

question:

i've run out parts that can be spray painted using sprue for 'handle'.

i like the Testor's 'reverse' tweezers.

how do i keep the tweezers from getting painted?

Bob,

You can cover them with tape or slip them in a latex glove.

You can place your parts on a long piece of painter's masking tape.

You can also get some alligator clips attach them to a small wood dowel.

It won't matter if you get paint on them. I got some of those with plenty paint on them over the years. :)

The possibilites are endless!

I made this paint stand from wire coat hangers and a piece of left over 1" x 5" x 10" pine.

I can paint car bodies, surf boards, an entire sprue or whatever.

I made 3 other short paint stands specifically for paint bodies. Now, I'm not limited to having to wait when a good weather comes around. I paint most of my bodies outside.

I hope this helps!

i'm editting previous answer. ( it was a wonderful day! )

i'm going with clothes pin glued to large wood 'tongue depressors' ( mixing sticks ).

might put a little tack in them for good measure.

you don't want to be around if clothes pin with part falls off!

nice body painting stands you made there! :)
