Ben Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 I think the recent AMT parts pack may contain those? There's a caster on here, I think it was Ma's Resin, not exactly sure but they have really nice modern cheater slicks!

Ben Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 (edited) Here's a pic of a real one sold by Coker Tire. Edited April 10, 2012 by Ben
Mike Kucaba Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 I don't know if they still have them, but years ago Stevens International(a hobby distributor) had the cheater slicks from the old Jo Han Dodge Ramcharger molded for them. I was friendly with a hobby shop in Illinois at that time and ordered a few sets. These were molded pretty poorly, and when I chucked them into my tire tool to sand them true I had to recut the two grooves. They may still offer them.
Ramfins59 Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 If you have the patience, and a good eye, you can use your razor saw to cut grooves into regular slicks to make your own cheater slicks. I've done it and they came out good, but it is a bit time consuming. Go for it.
