The "California Kid"

I'm staying the night in Portland Or. for work.Well today I drove around at lunch and found a So-Cal speed shop. They have copys of "the California Kid" Autographed by Pete Chapouris. I've always heard my dad talk about it but never seen it, so I said what the heck. I gota say, for 1974, its a pretty cool little film.

While not an exact replica, Revell did offer this pre-paint '34. Great way to keep busy while the broken bones heal. Firsthand knowledge of that one.

Someplace I've got a picture taken at a late-nineties car show in Des Moines Iowa, of this car. The great part about it, was that my daughter was allowed to pose with it.
