I love the fact that Pittsburgh natives are hard core lovers of their city. That's a rare trait these days indeed. Only ate there a couple times, but drove by it on Independence Avenue 1000s of times!......Strouds Family restaurant on I-35 is awesome home cooking as well! Dr. Cranky Posted April 15, 2012 Share Posted April 15, 2012 We had a place near the Georgia/Florida State Line called JB's and it was a fabulous BBQ place and the same thing happened, the old man retired and the kids I think ran it for a while, but quickly ran it into the ground.
