I start to build this '77 Chevy Van, new release from Revell... It has some issue, but overall it's a pretti nice solid van...

First thing I did, was to cut side, rear door, roof window and hood. Not so easy, like it looks, the plastic is thick and hard, using a nice tool, like patience, I was able to cut all, but not myself...

When you cut the the doors, you need to put some details inside, above all in this van, where it is not supposed to be open. Here some pillars.

Thank you all guys! :)

This one will be nothing special, no crazy works on it, just little things and have it done asap, I'm kind of tired of long term projects, that sometime you don't enjoy too much.

I have a few ideas for it, one that I like better is to build it mostly stock, put some "nice" wheels, like a kid, that buy a old van, it repaint it and put some nice wheels, and has fun with it.

Here the motor, after I try it on the chassis I notice that from the hood you will not see the motor... :P

I forgot to tell you guys, that I trim all the fender flares, I didn't like them so wide and goofy... :o:lol:

Here some more progress...

Painted the storage...

Painted the body...

The interior. The back of the seats was add, the stock seats have a hole on the back. Also they are painted in brown, but it reflects the aluminum of the floor. :)

Thank you!

That's coming along real nice.

Thank you!

I think to use a different set of tires. I'm not a big fan of the Rally Wheels... :) Probably I will use those Pegasus in picture. What do you think?

This is gonna be sweet when done,The flare removal looks much better.

Thank you! Plus if you open the side door, with the flare that came with the kit , the bottom of the door will stay too far from the body, and looks wrong.

Nice work on this.. I like the diamond plate floor

Interior done... :)

I had the motorcycle that was laying around, so I decide to incorporate it in the van... :) The tie down are scratchbuilt, the helmet came with the motorcycle kit, the boxes are all scratchbuit.

This is looking very cool so far. Sticking to the theme of the kid that bought an old van. Where did you get the diamond plate material?

Thank you both! :) Really appreciate you comment!

@Barster, I don't remember exactly, probably Plastruct? I bough it long time ago for a build.

......Yeah back in the "Vannin'" days when you wanted to put wide flares on the vans with sliders, you had to get a longer slider track arm to push the door out further to clear the flares, cuz if not.........crack,crunch,SNAP
