rustymodeler Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 I am going to attempt to put a heart beat back into this old chevy blazer, therefore I shall call this build the DEFIBULATOR . I had purchased this at an auction with a whole bunch more models. This truck was a major glue bomb. I am using a frame that I had traded for a month or so ago, and I am building a front and rear custom bumpers. I had also filled in the roof where the sun roof was at. Well enough jibber jabber and on with the insanity.
rustymodeler Posted April 20, 2012 Author Posted April 20, 2012 Ok those pictures arent in the order I had planned them to be in. Sorry
jeffs396 Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Good stuff going on there Jerred! You can rearrange your pics easily by editing your post and use the "toggle editing mode" in the upper left corner of the reply box. Copy & paste the pic links wherever you want them.
Wayne's World Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Really nice bumper. BTW, it's Defibrillator. Defibulator would be something that might take out one's legs. Second thought...this truck might just do that.
rustymodeler Posted April 21, 2012 Author Posted April 21, 2012 K so I found a top that would work, but its in pretty bad shape. Here is what I have so far. I also mocked up a rear bumper, plain jane but it will do the trick.
Dr. Cranky Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I love it, it's going to live up to its name. Great going, keep it going, please.
GrandpaMcGurk Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I'm liking it a lot...don't much care what order the pics are in.....it's all eye candy to me.
rustymodeler Posted April 21, 2012 Author Posted April 21, 2012 I got some paint on her today. I always dread painting, cause theres so much you can screw up if it doesnt go right. My plan was to paint from the body line down black, but I kind of like the way this is looking right now.Sorry about the poor pictures.
