Dweb7321 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I built this kit back in middle school when I wasn't so experienced or patient. It all came apart surprisingly easy and only had a few pieces break and not beyond repair. Plans include cleaning up all the edges, modifying the suspension to make it sit lower, a new paint job, and possibly a wheel change. any tips or suggestions are welcome and I would greatly appreciate it if someone had a pdf file of the instruction sheet for this kit.
Dweb7321 Posted April 30, 2012 Author Posted April 30, 2012 also, what is the best way to get old paint off without compromising the plastic?
vwrabbit Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Using LA's Totally Awesome (Dollar Store) or Purple Power (Walmart, etc) is the best way to strip paint. Just dip it in a container full of the stuff overnight and the paint usually scrubs off easily. Good luck! TIm
