In all honesty, EVERYTHING Hybrid is labeled and in a BRIGHT ORANGE harness sheathing that's well protected, similar to the bright yellow used to identify Air Bag/Safety Restraint harnesses today. But there's always that one person who can bend a crow bar in a sandbox....

I know we need alternative energy, but don't twist the very virtues your exploiting by neglecting to address the toxicity of the Ore and the in-efficient transporting of that Ore to produce it in a less than eco-friendly environment. Face it: Hybrids are a stop-gap answer to a much bigger one.

Provided the oil companies allow it, but now were entering politics... Sorry, I'll stop.

Geeez... I just realized by these posts how much I appear to dis-like Hybrids and will rally against them... Sorry!

But I do enjoy stopping at a red light in the Barracuda idling next to a Prius. I love the look of total disgust on the drivers face, and all the thumbs-up I get.
