I have got my Dad's Tyrone Malone Super Boss kit (needs rebuilt anyhow) and tore it completely apart down to the last pieces. I plan to take all the intake tubing, turbos and intake box and most other parts besides the block and casting them all to use on a rig I am building.SO if any of you casters out there would like to get my casings or the parts afterwards to borrow for this purpose shoot me a PM. I plan to rebuild the Super Boss and paint on all the stripes. I suppose too if any other parts would interest casters (say the drag slicks) I can furnish those too. I have all the pieces and took it apart as gently as possible but there are parts of the wing and stuff that broke off prior so I need to fab new ones. I think I am going to build a couple of my own race trucks. But will need to cast the body pieces.

Yeah I will show the rebuild in the truck section but it will be down the road. I need to get hackin on the post appocolyptic B87 Mack I am building. I also got the Bandag Bandit and both papa trucks to match so maybe I will do them all at the same time. Look for it sometime after October.

Artemis, if you plan at all to cast up the bed section from either of the haulers keep me in mind. I could use one or two for race car haulers. Thanks.

I will Kevin. I think when I do these since they are a rebuild I will try and detail them out as much as possible.

Thank you. I never got a chance to own these when they first came out but i've coveted them for years. I did contact Polar Lights about a possible reissue. They said they would look into it but not to hope too high.

Only the 2 Malone Transporters used the body. AMT Did offer the KW Aerodyne

As a Semi cab & Licensed for the TV series BJ & The Bear.

The LN race hauler in the Petty, Tennessee Thunder, Mach-1,

and other sets had a different body. It was designed for a shorter Single Drive

chassis while the Malone transporter body fits a longer Tandem Drive chassis.

I had one of the Bandit Transporters. Only $10.oo at the time.

They said they had Cases of the 4 kits at the shops. but that was the only

one they had any left of in the traveling sales trailer.

Yea, wish I had kept it!

Wish I had had More $$ then. I would have bought 2, 3 or even 4 of that truck!

They closed shop didn't they?

They were Here in my town, right out my back door at a Bandag Tire dealer.

Had Super Boss, & Papa, plus one I had never seen before. Tandem drive .

Don't remember its name

I am sorry for how I worded that. I meant the 1:1 trucks when I said a few trucks had the body. I do have a White road boss race truck (not sure if one of the four haulers I have is for that truck) and it's a circle track truck or road race? I also have a ford hauler with Bud signage with a funny car.

These two pics you can see the yellow and black White race truck:

Here are three of the haulers. I believe the white one is the bud truck and of course the Super Boss, Hide out Truck and Papa Truck and the yellow one I think is for the White since I don't see any other race cars:

That's a nice collection of rebuildables! I am definitely interested in a couple copies of the turbos and superchargers. I have that 16V now and other engines that could use some 'inspiration'...

Yeah I will keep you guys in mind as I cast them because I really like the setup n the Superboss. It's clean and simple. I am gonne throw up a list down in the rigs section and see who all built the race trucks.
