ajtassman Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 So when you get one of the many amazing Resin cast F/C bodies and you cut it out and sand it up....what do you do about a windshield? Just wondering if there is a whole side industry that makes windshields..lol. Thanks
ARTEMIS1759 Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Not that I know of. Some kits come with thin plastic. I was told celophane also works.
Craig Irwin Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Sometimes the caster provides one, sometimes you can cut one from flat clear plastic (packaging bubbles or clear flat stock from a hobby store) and the most work is to make a basswood or balsa buck and vacuum form one.
jeffb Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 for many kits, you can use flat stock clear acteate.just sart it one spot and work your way around. for bodies with funky curves, we generally will supply a vacuformed glass.
