75 Cutlass

Im likin this project, it actually is inspiring me to dig out mine and do similar. Your promo is actually a 73/74. Johan got very lazy in those years and marked their 74 Cutlasses 75 and 76 without changing the body details.

1975 Cutlass has a different grill and some other subtile differences.

Yea I noticed that.... My first car was from my stepdad when I turned 16.... A 76 Cutlass S....

Notice the difference in the front clip...

Got the trunk cut open... Next up is to jamb and hinge....

Got the motor for this and back on it again... Started working on the rear setup... May drop it a bit more though...

Ok, so I got the front suspension going... I think this might be it.... Not totally sure, but I kinda dig it locked up like this...

Before anyone says anything about the front wheels... A lot of the lowriders use extended upper a arms so it makes the wheels angle outward like that...

Here's the motor and all the parts for it...

Got them soaking in a container with warm water and some Clorox ....

Well got started with the motor.... Everything seems to fit with minimal work... Of course I'm stupid and glued the oil pan backwards... But I got it fixed...lol

Fits in the engine bay pretty good....

dont feel bad, you not the only guy who ever glued an oil pan on backwards! ive done it more than once.... duh! LOL :D :D
