Lifted Range Rover

I pulled this one out of the closet and decided it was ready to be built. I am going to be lifting the model to make room for the Swampers and I am building a roof rack. I am keeping the factory wheels on this one and I don't want to get really fancy with it.

Steve, that kit was made by Aoshima and has been discontinued for quite a while now. I find them on ebay every once in a while and you can expect to pay about $30 - $40 for one. It is a really nice kit but is a right hand drive model with no engine. I am going to be cutting the dash up and converting it over to a left hand drive model.

Steve those are some Killer Range AW's Have you thought about doing it with a Jada or Welly 1/24 Diecast??

Rob, I'd much rather work in plastic. It would be aufully difficult to get the "TORCHWOOD" lettering into the sides a metal hood. [kinda hard to see in the original pics] But I might have to.

Understandable Steve, I too would much rather work with plastic, but lately I have been hankering to work with metal again! I grew up wrenching on my Full-Size Cars/Trucks, and am even trainned in Auto Repair and Refinishing, yet I live in a Condo Community that doesn't allow it
