ChevyCoupe41 Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 (edited) Okay, this is my older build which i finished last year. I got my inspiration to this build by my 1:1 Toyota Corolla KE20. KE25 is basicly same car as the KE20 Corolla but in KE25 the body style is Coupe and some of those emblems and details are diffrent. Body color is very close of 70's Toyota's own color and i think it is almost the only color which fit to these Corollas. It is box stock build and It was very fun to build. I think i will build another in future but next this kind of old school japanese model which i will build is Datsun 510. Here's few pics of Toyota: Thank's for looking! Bart68 Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I had that car (N. American Version) called Corolla SR5 which came factory with the wheel flares, console and 5speed. You did an awesome job and I need to get this kit but mine will be red with black wheel flares same as my 1:1 or maybe Blue like my second one.
ChevyCoupe41 Posted June 25, 2012 Author Posted June 25, 2012 Thank's Darren! Your Corolla sounds very intresting. Here's one pic of my 1:1 Corolla KE20 which inspired me to do this one. It needs some work but maybe after next winter the engine is rebuild and ready to rock.
Zarana-X Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 (edited) Excellent job. The color is spot on. My friend had a coupe that color. I've got a scar on my leg from pushing it out of the sand when it got stuck. Got hit witha rock, driver's fault, the owner was helping push, but since three of us pushed, we picked it up like a wheel barrow and shoved it a few feet. Edited June 25, 2012 by Zarana-X
Tonioseven Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 That's a beautiful build. How similar were these to the TE-27 Corollas? I've built a couple of the Fujimi kits but I can see no noticeable differences. Again, it's a beautiful build I'm just trying to increase my awareness.
