mnwildpunk Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 I picked up this 50 chevy when I was 12 it was the only one in my little hobby store. I got home opened the box and on the left front fender was a big hole. Hobby shop wouldn't return it. Long story short I had to fix it. Without any knowledge of any sort this was my solution. I took part of a spruce tree melted it and stuck it to the back side of the hole. Then filled it with a play-doh glue mixture. It wasn't pretty but did last 19 yrs. I'm proud of my creativness back then and thought you guys could use a laugh
62rebel Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 i had no idea spruce trees would melt. good fix, though. using what you have on hand is a good skill to keep sharp.
