rmvw guy Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 This is starting to look a lot like one of those "OLD NAVY" trucks. I love the weathering, like everybody else, especially on the interior. You have the dirty in all the right places! Love your work!!!!
Pumba Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 after dislocating my elbow, i am now healed enough to get back into the truck. its amazing how much a right elbow is needed for hobbies. lol the cab is now in place, with the firewall and inner guards glued and weathered. so that should be everything under the bonnet done, or should i say "hood"??
Gluhead Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Love your weathering. Not too hot, not too cold...just right!
Pumba Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 here are a couple of wip weathering pics.Stage 1- i have just sponged on the rust colours on the cab.
Pumba Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 as you can see, the windows, grill, and front bumper have been added. i have the tray and foot thingy (lol) sitting on to see the overall effect.
Pumba Posted October 11, 2012 Author Posted October 11, 2012 it has come to pass that i have actually finished a hobby project. As i said at the beginning of the thread, this is my first 'auto' build after a lot of years, so it was decided to keep it with no mods whatsoever. here is a pic of the final product. i will take more pics, and add them to the "under glass" section soon. thinking my next project should be a clean one, so i may do a mid to late 30's ford pickup, or what we like to call in aus, a ute.
