cavemanx Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 This is my dodge ram I got when I was 5 or 6 years old, so I've had it for about 10 years now. I beat the heck out of it when I was young, and it looked really... cruddy. Since then I've removed the decals from it, put decals from a 69 charger on the rear windshield, put mirrors and running boards from a crappy ford f150 on it, lifted it, gave it a scrappy trailer hitch, CB radio and antenna, tires from a speccast ford f350, and gave it a "TRUCK YEAH" bumper sticker. Only reason I decided to put it on here was my friends and siblings thought it was cool and told me to put it on. Did I mention it has an 8ft plow and has authentic mud? And dented bumper and tailgate... and bedliner... And Lightbar... wow I suck at telling stories.

cavemanx Posted August 11, 2012 Author Posted August 11, 2012 Can anybody give me some feedback on what they think? Anything I could have improved?
krazyglu Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Looks good man, just keep building kits and have fun. Seems to me that you improved the kit over the years which is always good. Just remember that mastering the basic skills is one of the most important things. Sanding seams, clean smooth paint, BMF work on the trim ect. Always research your subject so that you get a idea as to interior colors, trim options ect., does not mean that you have to build the kit that way, but it helps to have reference pictures. You can definitely find these Dodge trucks out there still, I found both this one and the dually at a local swap meet.

I just need money for it. My Dodge Charger Daytona kit that I'm working on that is also in the forum is going to be my test hamster for a lot of things.
