Here is a comparison pic of how big a 1/24 Huey is, compared to a 1/24 car. I thought you all may be interested in seeing it. If you want, join in and post other comparison pics. real or scale.

Monogram just re-released it not too long ago. I've got the one that has Rambo on it!!? I think it's around 35-40 bucks??

If memory serves, it was just short of 42 feet in length, 14.5 feet high and the rotor diameter was 48 feet.

Yes, it is Revellogram's kit, around 35 bucks or so, and yes, Bradley is correct, the "B" model Huey, which this is, is about those measurements. I ahve documented one set of markings in the kit, the ones that have the have gun will travel on the door, but acording to the sources I could find, the other bird did not exhist according to the unit aircraft roster for that unit. Dont know when I am starting it, just had to see how it compares to the same scale car. Thins kit is big, well over 2 feet , including the main rotor.

Who's Bradley??? :lol:

I think I may have to get one of these.

Thanks for the pics, Lee. I've always planned on using this as a load on a lowboy truck.
