Western star consolation truck

Boy I was on tower hobbies website and found out the 1/16th pete is discontinued I'm glad i got two of them. My question is what does the western star consolation truck look like? Tower has no picture.

Well that depends on what you consider the Constellation...this was the name given to the newer style cab that came out in the mid 90's, old style cab is refered to as the Heritage...this is the one that is similiar to the White Road Boss model. Italeri issued the slope nose 5900 series on truck in the following kits:

Kit 717 (blue tractor with wild cat decals 1999)

Kit 3802 (white tractor with snake and woman decals 2000-2002)

Kit 3826 (american eagle tractor and reefer trailer 2004

Kit 3843 (Red tow truck with L.A. decals 2007)

Don't quote me on the years...I could be wrong...most anything made before that was Heritage, some of which have been re-issued at or around the same time.

This the Western Star Tower is showing it is a re release of a previous kit.
