Len Geisler Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 I have started an new project recently....An MPC HEMI Cuda, picked ups some big and little Centerline Wheels from Pegasus, got some nice "racing" seats from Arrowhead. I even have some color ideas in my head, however, I do have one point of indecisiveness.....The power plant, I dont know if I want to use the HEMI from the 67 Coronet or if I want to use the HEMI from the Magnum wagon??? What do you guys think????? Thanks for the input..... LG

scubadiver411 Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 If you are going "old-school" with the big and little centerlines, I would use the '67 engine, but if you might lean toward more of a "touring" look and the tires are sucked up into the wheel wells, then I would go with the magnum engine. But, whatever you do, you can never go wrong with a MoPar STEVE
VW Dave Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Haven't seen many use a modern powerplant, go with the Magnum engine I agree....the Magnum motor would be a nice touch. Here's the XV Motorsports' car I saw at last year's Goodguys East Coast Nats here in NY: And here's the new HEMI, looking right at home in that E-body Mopar: Hey Len - your avatar pic, is that from So. Glens Falls NY? I'm about 30-40 minutes from there, and a lot of folks I know from there reminisce about that place.
