Miatatom Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 I've made 2 so far. The second one was to change some from the first one and do a cleaner job with the epoxy. It came out great.
Lownslow Posted December 8, 2012 Author Posted December 8, 2012 i plan on making a second one this is a great tool
BKcustoms Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I need to make one of these, It looks like a great tool.
Deathgoblin Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 That's really nifty. I gotta make one of these.
MoparWoman Jamie Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I'll stick to the old tape trick method myself.
Guest G Holding Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 I'll stick to the old tape trick method myself. I agree....looks like a great way to scratch glass with fun tack.
Gothic Kustomz Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 I agree....looks like a great way to scratch glass with fun tack. That's awesome, soon as I get settled into my new place I'm gonna make me a few. An G Holding, go check out the link, it shows using ear plugs up against the glass, in place of the tack.
Guest G Holding Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 (edited) Michael, You can call me Greg, or Mr. Holding, but unless you are meeting me at the airport, NEVER G Holding! I have probably scratched more glass than you've bought, and if I don't do a future dip and then scratch glass...oh well. I have used tape and white glue for years....No Thanks! Edited December 15, 2012 by G Holding
Lownslow Posted December 15, 2012 Author Posted December 15, 2012 My glass is just fine i dont use white glue i use future to glue my windows
Guest G Holding Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Looks great Frank ! I have used tape and white glue for years as the white glue is flexable and gives me a little more "oops" in handeling afterwords. Yours looks sweet and neat. I do dip my glass in future and it has cut back most of my issues, but glass and scratches will be my weak link.
slusher Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Cool looking tool, but l have used tape this long l will continue to use it...
Lownslow Posted December 16, 2012 Author Posted December 16, 2012 Cool I will have to give that a try.. do you thicken the Future? if so how? I have herd people thickening Future and using it as glue. let it sit for a day but i put it on wet so it goes all around the window
Scott Colmer Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Wow! It's neat to see that this idea is getting used. The one in the pic looks great. You will find it can be expanded upon. You guys couldn't find the foam ear plugs to put on the end? I got mine from work, but I figured you cold find them at home depot. Scott
