I have a real quick question ... I bought 50 bottles of this paint

98743c5a.jpg

Has any one used this type of paint ?

What do you thin it with to spray through an air brush ?

Is it good paint ?

Got it really cheap at a swap meet ... Paid fifty cents a piece all bottles are sealed and new .

Is it a good deal ?

I'm just now trying my hand at air brushing so any help would be great

Thanks

I've used it and like it. I went to a automotive paint shop here in Mesa and showed them the paint and asked about what to thin it with. I got 2 quarts of enamel reducer by Advantage. The numbers on the qts. are 112 &114 You don't have to get the exact brand, just a good quality reducer for enamel.

This paint got a lot of bad press because they (Valspar) tried to make hay with the HOK name. Valspar does own HOK,but this is not HOK.

Its not HOK..never was or will be. Valspar brought these paints out for wal mart...they failed and now its on clearance. As noted above you need a enamel reducer to thin...The colors are great, but I will pay the price for the real HOK
