I want to recreate the truck my Grandfather drove when he had his automotive repair shop: a grey 1937 Chevy pickup.

Has anyone ever kitted this truck?

I've been scanning various forums, but have yet to run across one.

Barring that, I thought it might be possible to convert a sedan. Any suggestions in this regard would also be appreciated.

There's no stock kit, but I have seen the Orange Blossom Special 2 pulling truck cab, reworked to stock roof hight, combined with the AMT '37 Chevy car to make a stock truck. The OBS2 kit pops up regularly on ebay, and the '37 Coupe/Convertible is fairly easy to find as it's been reissued many times.

Thanks, Bill and Jeff.

Two workable options. I had never even thought of going with a die cast; e-bay here I come.
