I'm trying to learn this confounded thing. :P

I have a Paasche HS with 3 tips.... a #1, #3, and a #5.

What's the difference? Will one shoot a wider pattern than the other?

No instruction book here.

Pat, Have you tried hitting the Paasche site? They may have downloadable instructions. Or e-mail them for an instruction booklet.

I did that with my Badger and in less than a week they mailed me a set of instructions, no cost, no hassle.

This is what is listed at a few online retailers:

HS#1 Spray Pattern 1/32"- 1" Light Fluids

HS#3 Spray Pattern 1/32"- 1 1/4" Medium Fluids

HS#5 Spray Pattern 1/16"- 1 1/2" Heavy Fluids

...and some partial instructions/parts sheet @ Paasche (in pdf)
