Remembering the Fallen

I know this is a little off topic, but I found it appropriate.

I still can’t help but cry

When I see them replay it on the news

3,000 lives lost, buildings destroyed

A call for over 100 fire crews

I still can’t help but cry

When we have a moment of silence for the dead

I can hear the BOOM and the screams

I remember how they all bled

I pray tonight on my knees

“Oh God please help my nation heal

I know its 11 years later now

But every year it remains so real”

“Please God help those families of the lost

Give them the strength to try and move on

Help them soar on wings like Eagles

Renew their faith, make them strong”

“Lord I pray for those whose birthdays are today

Instead of getting a birthday balloon or snack

People could care less they were born today

They just can’t get their mind off that evil attack”

“Lord I pray for those who blamed you

Please help them to realize

It was not at all our fathers fault

Perhaps this happened to open the worlds eyes”

“Lord forgive me for my next few words

Its not to Christian if you can’t already tell

But for those bastards who terrorized this nation

May they forever rot in hell!”

Please God help the people to:

Dislike the greedy

Appreciate the giving

Remember the fallen

And pray for the living

I have no problem with you posting this, but I think it's the kind of thread that can very easily go very bad very quickly... so I'm going to lock it.
