Hey, that's the same clear I use. I just threw away about a 1/3 of a bottle of hardner cause it flashed off in what I thought was a sealed can... I guess not!

That sure is pretty! Did you thin your clear at all? I've found it goes on a lot smoother if I thin it down a little with 91% isopropyl alcohol.

What does this thin/clean up with rubbing alcohol? I thought I saw rubbing alcohol mentioned.

Woohoo! I finally got my clear coat! Lets finish this thing.

I use 91% isopropyl alcohol to thin my clear coat. I've got the same brand and type as blue Popsicle.

I've also used it to strip urethanes, works great.

Progress update: I got the car sanded, polished and waxed and IMO, it looked better before doing it. I put BMF everywhere it needed it and painted the engine compartment. Now it's time to start putting some stuff together....
