Tryin out New stuff : embossing powder

I use embossing powder all the time for my interiors. I only purchase the white powder. I use a white glue, thinned with a little water, brush it on and sprinkle the powder. I let it dry in usually 20 mins, then I can paint the embossing powder with spray and/or brush. Because this is basically a paper product, it absorbs the moisture from the glue and paint adheres to it well.
